History

IGPA India Gospel Prayer Association

The India Gospel Prayer Association (IGPA) is an ecumenical and evangelical fellowship dedicated to serving the nations with the Gospel and prayer in unity with the body of Christ. We are a network of Christian organizations and individuals united together to pray for, serve and proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ in India and throughout the world.

Our membership is diverse, representing many denominations, cultural backgrounds and countries. We strive to foster unity in the body of Christ through prayer, fellowship and service. We are passionate about seeing people from all backgrounds come to know Christ and be changed by His love.

We are committed to living out the values of the Lausanne Covenant, which was adopted in 1974 and includes beliefs such as:

At IGPA, we believe that every believer is called to share the Good News with their friends, family and neighbors, and to make disciples of all nations. Our mission is to equip believers to do just that by helping them find their place in God’s mission and encouraging them to use their unique gifts and talents for God’s glory.
